From the upper reaches of the Ullswater valley we will begin our adventure close to a newly restored river and flood plain. This helps protect the surrounding area from flooding and brings additional biodiversity to its waterways.
As we leave the valley behind we soon gain the ridge of the strangely named Hartsop above How. Today’s route then takes in Hart Crag, Dove Crag, Little Hart Crag and High Hartsop Dodd for a fantastic day out
This wonderful horseshoe round above Dovedale is a gem of an adventure.
