Armboth Fell, High Tove, High Seat & Raven Crag

Up above the Thirlmere reservoir, these Central Fells offer quieter areas of the Lake District.

Straight from the pages of Walking the Wainrights by Graham Uney - and this one will be lead by the author himself. Don’t worry it will still be a Tortoise walk with everything that comes with that, and no rushing!

With the popularity of this years walks, Graham has agreed to lead a few for me to give people more oportunities to get out for a walk and tick off a few more Wainwrights. These four summits open up some of the wilder areas of the Lake District and give an oportunitity to see some of the work completed by Cumbria Wildlife Trust and Fix the Fells to repair the peat bog and provide more solid pathways for the passage of walkers.

Level 2, 10.5km, 590m of height gain, possible bog!
