Knobbly, bobbily adventures, over the 5 crinkles which dominate the head of Langdale.

This rocky undulating journey feels like a proper mountain experience, high above the valley floor we hope to be rewarded for our efforts with amazing views. in all directions. We take our time as we head up Oxendale to Red Tarn before we begin visiting the many crinkles. Some may have heard of the “bad step” on Crinkle Crags, leading to the main summit. This is a short section of scrambling and my decision with my groups is that we will avoid this section and take an alternative gentler route to the top hopefully taking away an anxiety you may have about this section.

After the Wainwright summit, its pick and choose time, the are many many little highpoints on this journey and we will take in as many as weather, legs, heart and minds desire!
