Cathedral Caves, Little Langdale Tarn & Hodge Close Quarry

A low level walk, perfectly suited to a winter’s day. Taking in some of the great “must sees” of the Lake District, our great geological heritage and wonders of the man made and natural world. Step back in time to explore our quarrying past and the amazing structures left behind. A gentle paced day with underground sections (bring a torch so you can see the walkable route!).

Given the time of year you will need warm and waterproof clothing , just in case!
