Bonscale Fell, Arthur’s Pike and Loadpot Hill from Howtown

An Autumn Journey above Ullswater.

We will start our journey with the Ullswater Steamer - (£15.50 return payable on the day not included in walk fee) for the 09:45 steamer to Howtown. There is no parking at Howtown so this fun journey is a much more pleasant way to travel.

From here we will head up to Bonscale Fell and Tower before moving on to Arthurs Pike then hopefully up to Loadpot hill before returning to Howtown for the boat home. From up on the Fells we hope to have views across the valley and all its autumn colours.

This walk is part of my autumn series of gentler walks suitable for all with a sense of adventure. We tackle everything at a pace to suit all, no one is made to feel under pressure and no one is left behind.

9km, 600m height gain, stony and grassy paths. Dogs on leads welcome

£39pp plus the steamer fare
