Responding to Customer Feedback
As we come towards the end of the year, it seems a good time to hold a little review.
Firstly I am delighted with the direct feedback I have received from those who have join walks this year, it has been exclusively positive and I am overjoyed with the number of returning walkers. Thank you to those who have booked, re-booked, shared, talked about and helped Team Tortoise to grow.
For 2026 I have taken on board the walk requests from my social media pages, added some new walks and will rerun some of the popular events. I have added wild camping dates and hope to get these running next year.
I have also noted the things that worry my customers; rocky steps, steep down hill, bogs and big groups, as well at the things that exhilarate them; pushing themselves to do a little more than they thought they could, meeting new people and realising what they can achieve. I have pulled these things together into a walk program for 2026 where I hope this adventure will continue to thrive.
Going forward there are a couple of changes, firstly a slight price rise on day walks to £45 pp. This enables me to make my other change, which is maximum group size - six for all day walks. I know that this is important to my customers and it makes me happy to know that I can give each client individual attention, meet their needs, know their name and ensure they have a great day.
